Mid-Morning to Early Afternoon:

• Live All on 4® Surgical Case by Dr. Joe Mehranfar
  • Attendees will observe the full surgical procedure:
    • Incision techniques and flap management
    • Sequential bone reduction for optimal prosthetic placement
    • Multi-unit abutment selection and placement
    • Achieving primary stability of implants
    • Suture techniques and post-op care

  • Hands-on experience:

    • Implant placement in the mandible

    • Placement of multi-unit abutments
  • Understanding the grammetry technique for precise temporary prosthesis fabrication
• Analog Conversion for Same-Day Temporary Prosthesis
  • Step-by-step guide to converting analog prosthetics:
    • Fitting of the temporary prosthesis immediately after surgery
    • Adjusting the prosthetic for patient comfort and aesthetics
    • Handling occlusal adjustments for proper function
  • Overview of the digital and analog workflow in the same-day prosthesis conversion

• Observation of Prosthesis Delivery from Day 1 Case
  • Observe the digital workflow and delivery of a 3D-printed temporary prosthesis
  • Review the intricacies of fitting and adjusting the prosthetic
  • Discuss challenges and solutions encountered during delivery

Afternoon Session:

• Hands-On Cadaver Training (Maxilla)
  • Review maxilla anatomy and key anatomical structures (e.g., sinuses)
  • Hands-on placement of implants in the maxilla
    • Considerations for bone density and quantity in the maxilla
    • Sinus lift techniques (if applicable)
  • Placement of multi-unit abutments and preparation for prosthetic delivery
• Observation of Additional Live All on 4® Surgery
  • Optional observation of a second live case, focusing on the differences in maxilla vs. mandible treatment

• Develop hands-on skills with cadaver mandible and maxilla surgeries
• Understand the analog conversion process for immediate prosthesis delivery
• Gain practical knowledge of anatomical differences and how they impact surgical outcomes

  • Review the grammetry technique and its role in precise temporary prosthesis fabrication
  • Hands-on practice:
    • Advanced implant placement in the mandible using cadavers
    • Incorporating grammetry into surgical workflow for prosthetic planning
  • Placement of multi-unit abutments and review of suture techniques
• Anatomy Review and Key Vital Structures
  • Final review of important anatomical structures: nerves, arteries, sinuses, and bone density

• Observation of 3D-Printed Prosthesis Fabrication and Delivery
  • Overview of the digital dental lab process for 3D-printed temporary prosthesis creation
  • Attendees will observe the final steps of fabrication and fitting on the cadaver head
  • Hands-on fitting of the temporary prosthesis using the grammetry technique

Afternoon Session:

• Completion of Cadaver Maxilla Treatment
  • Hands-on practice finalizing maxilla surgery on cadaver heads
  • Ensuring correct angulation, depth, and implant stability
  • Incorporating all surgical and prosthetic skills learned

Final Review and Q&A:

• Case review from all 3 days
