About Implant Education Company
Implant Education Company was founded in January 2020 by Dr. Joe Mehranfar and Scott Lauer with a clear mission: to give dentists the skills, confidence, and clinical experience to offer dental implant treatment in their own practices.
From our state-of-the-art training center in Phoenix, Arizona, we deliver implant education the way surgery is actually learned — by doing. Every program combines lecture and didactic instruction, hands-on model exercises, hands-on cadaver training, live surgical observation, and live surgical training on real patients. You will not sit in the back of a crowded lecture hall. You will hold the handpiece.

Dentists come to us with little to no implant surgery experience and with extensive surgical backgrounds — and every one of them leaves with a deeper understanding of the principles and fundamentals of implant dentistry.

The Implant Progression Program
Our signature Implant Progression program takes you through implant dentistry as a structured series of courses — from treatment planning and implant placement, through the All-on-4® procedure, to the complete digital workflow for full-mouth dental implant treatment. Each step builds on the last, so you develop real surgical judgment, not just isolated techniques — all guided by expert instructors in a small-group setting.
Small Groups. Real Surgery. Expert Guidance.
After your didactic training, you will treat live patients under the direct guidance of our expert instructors. Our courses are intentionally small — enrollment is capped at eight dentists or fewer, and live surgical training is even more limited — so you get the individual direction and coaching you need to be successful in implant dentistry.
Learn From Experienced Clinicians
Our courses are led by Dr. Joe Mehranfar, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), former adjunct professor at Midwestern University and A.T. Still University, and lecturer for Nobel Biocare and SprintRay.
He is joined by instructors including Dr. Blake Adams, a 2008 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry who practiced general dentistry for a decade before dedicating his career to implantology — training with Dr. Arun Garg and the Spear Institute and completing a Masters of Implantology through UNLV and the California Implant Institute.
